Despite being one of the most overlooked mammals on Earth, aardvarks are extraordinary creatures capable of eating tens of thousands of termites in a single night while tearing through hardened ground with enormous claws. Their name means “earth pig” even though they are actually more closely related to elephants, which feels like another reminder that nature refuses to fit neatly into human categories. Creating this pattern felt less like inventing something and more like uncovering a visual rhythm already hidden inside the animal all along.
