What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?
Get our tiny-house/school bus ‘Milly’ to our land.
I recently asked my Instagram artist friends what was their favourite environment to create in. And the majority of people said they needed peace and quiet with a bit of nature thrown in. That’s possibly why I’m so drawn to the idea of being on our new patch of land, even if it is an empty paddock at the moment. We’ve planted about 200 trees so hopefully the landscape starts changing over the next few years.

So I suppose this leads me into to the idea of creating for the future, and creating towards a better creative environment for your future. Because at the moment everything feels a bit barren but it will start to transform, as long as we nurture the environment. Do the right things now so we can reap the rewards later.
That’s why I think to become a thriving artist you need to start where you are, even if it’s not where you want to be. Create a website, start your social media channels and shops and document your journey along the way. Do all of those things that your future ‘thriving Artist’ self will thank you for 2, 5, 10 years down the track. It might seem like miles away now, But you’ll be very grateful many years down the track from now.
And by the way I made it to day 2 of Inktober 👇
