Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
As I sit amidst the shitstorm of life, crayons in hand, coffee splattering in every direction, I find solace in the timeless wisdom encapsulated in the words, “life is not a rehearsal.” These words echo through the corridors of my overwhelmed mind, urging me to embrace the cacophony of existence and mold it into my own masterpiece.
In an era where the walls of artistic exclusivity are crumbling, where the once towering gatekeepers are fading into obscurity, the landscape of creativity has undergone a profound democratisation. No longer tethered by the shackles of traditional avenues, we, the artists, find ourselves at the helm of our destinies, navigating the boundless sea of self-expression.
Gone are the days of waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect studio, the perfect equipment. I’ve come to realise that such pursuits are nothing but veiled procrastination, a guise for the fear of embracing the raw, unfiltered essence of creativity that resides within each of us.
The advent of online platforms has bestowed upon us the power to transcend geographical boundaries, to transform our bedrooms into galleries, our voices into podcasts, our visions into YouTube channels. The stage is set, the spotlight beckons, and the only audience we need to captivate is ourselves.
I refuse to succumb to the siren song of regret, to lie on my deathbed haunted by the ghosts of abandoned dreams. For life is not a dress rehearsal; it is a symphony waiting to be composed, a canvas waiting to be painted, a story waiting to be told.
Every stroke of the brush, every note of the melody, every word penned onto the page is a testament to the fleeting beauty of existence. And so, I choose to make every moment count, to infuse each day with passion, purpose, and unbridled creativity.
In this grand shitstorm, I find fulfillment not in the pursuit of perfection, but in the messy, imperfect dance of creation. I invite you to join me in this exhilarating journey, to revel in the chaos, to embrace the unknown, and to remember that life is not a rehearsal
So lets raise our glasses to the relentless pursuit of our creative dreams, to laughter that echoes through the corridors of time, to love that knows no bounds. For in the end, what matters most is not the accolades we amass or the monuments we leave behind, but the art we create, the lives we touch, and the legacy we leave for generations to come.

I’ve read this a few times. I like what you are saying and I like the way you say it.
Thank you for your inspiring words
