W is for Water Deer: Limited Edition NFT

Introducing my W is for Water Deer NFT, exclusively available on ZeroOne Market! This unique piece, part of my Uncommon Animals of the Alphabet series, is limited to only 8 unique NFTs. Taken directly from my children’s book of the same name, the illustration showcases the quirky and intriguing water deer, an animal that captivates with its distinct features and mysterious charm.

Why the Water Deer?
Water deer, also known as “vampire deer,” are fascinating creatures native to China and Korea. Despite their name, they don’t spend much time in water but are excellent swimmers. What sets them apart are their prominent tusks—elongated canine teeth that give them their nickname. These deer are more solitary than other deer species and are often found in wetlands and grasslands.

Here are some other interesting facts about the water deer:

  • They are small and light, standing just over 50 cm (20 inches) tall at the shoulder.
  • Unlike many other deer, water deer lack antlers, making their tusks even more distinctive.
  • These deer are known for their ability to leap gracefully, which helps them evade predators in their marshy habitats.
  • Despite their somewhat intimidating appearance, they are herbivorous and eat a diet of grasses and reeds.

This NFT artwork reflects the essence of the water deer with a vibrant green design, tusks proudly on display, and a textured raindrop background that pays homage to its marshland home.

By owning this NFT, you’re not just collecting a rare piece of digital art—you’re also helping me raise awareness about these uncommon animals and their environments.

Head to ZeroOne Market now to grab one of these exclusive NFTs before they’re gone!
