Hypno Bat Electric is a vivid representation of my artistic evolution. With its hypnotic patterns and electric energy, this artwork serves as a visual manifesto. It calls us to break free from societal distractions, the noise that blinds us to the beauty and fragility of our world. The Hypno Bat whispers for us to pay attention to the creatures we’ve overlooked—the uncommon, the endangered, the extraordinary.
If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?
If I didn’t need sleep, I know exactly how I’d spend the extra time: creating more art like this and diving deeper into my passion for kids’ books. My mission? To shine a light on the lesser-known animals of the alphabet—the ones you’ve likely never heard of but should. Imagine flipping through a book filled with creatures like the aardvark, babirusa, and dumbo octopus. Each page would hopefully spark a sense of wonder about our planet and an urgency to protect its unique inhabitants and their habitats.
Hypno Bat Electric is more than just a piece of art. It’s a symbol of this mission—a hypnotist pulling us away from the monotony of everyday distractions and redirecting our focus to what truly matters. The bold patterns, inspired by my love for black-and-white op art, are a reminder of how art evolves, just as I have. And just as I hope our collective mindset can evolve to pull these creatures back from the brink of extinction.
In a world where sleep wasn’t a necessity, I’d pour every waking moment into making this vision a reality—crafting art, writing books, and sharing the stories of these fascinating creatures. Because sometimes, all it takes is a spark of creativity to ignite a movement of change.
