Blending In, Standing Out, and My Visual Dream Journal

She towers above the crowd, head and shoulders rising like a silent signal that she doesn’t quite belong. Her posture calm, her expression unreadable, at first glance she’s just another figure, but the world around her seems to shrink in comparison. That’s the dream journal artwork I call Blending In, now an NFT on Rodeo Club: a dream made visible, a reminder of what it feels like to stand apart even when you try to disappear in the crowd.

What’s the first impression you want to give people?

I’ve never really fit in. Never. Since childhood, schooldays, and every awkward social misstep in between, I was always the weirdo. Always different. Maybe it’s an undiagnosed neurodivergence. Maybe it’s just my wiring. Either way, blending in was something I chased, and failed spectacularly.

This NFT isn’t a hand-drawn illustration. It’s AI. An AI creation born from my dreamworld, my visual dream journal. If I weren’t juggling parenting, farm life, and adulting, I’d love to draw these by hand like I do my uncommon animals. But why let the creative machine in my brain sit idle when I can harness technology to capture it instead?

Blending In is me. The first impression I give isn’t “normal.” It’s unapologetically weird. It’s a reminder that leaning into your differences isn’t a liability, it’s the only way to thrive.
