Another way for creators to make money when you are just starting out is Merch… hang on, I haven’t even made anything yet. How could I possibly expect anyone to buy any Merch? If you’re documenting your journey, people are hopefully following you along the way and as you create stuff like my drawings for a kids book or you’re writing a book or something like that. I can actually put those illustrations, if they translate well, onto a T-shirt or something like that. Also with the text you can put on some awesome quotes onto a T-shirt, tea towel, stubby holder, an esky, I don’t know. People can start buying that and the good thing is about that, is if you’re creating merch from the outset, then that merch is out there, hopefully if you have sold any, promoting the work that you’re going to release soon. So it’s a win-win situation. I don’t have any merch yet, nothing down in the comment section yet, but stay tuned.
