A funny turn of events. You know how I was getting all excited about the new program in Anchor podcast, where basically you can click a button and people would start sending in sponsors submissions, so you can advertise on your podcast and you could start making money. I looked at the terms and conditions and It said U.S. only and I got all depressed. I did press the button and they’ve sent me a couple proposals, I don’t know if it was by mistake. Anyway I’m gonna give it a go. One from Anchor itself funnily enough and one from another podcast. They are paying between 10 and $15 per thousand plays which is pretty cool when you consider that Spotify are paying .006 cents per play for a musician. So it sounds like a potentially good way to earn a little bit of extra money for your podcast. I’ll be looking into this a bit more in the future and hopefully you might find some ads that you like and I’m not too annoying with them.
