I want to talk about personal brand, I think it’s important for solopreneurs, creators, entrepreneurs, people working by themselves basically, artist, because that way people get to know your personality, your personality is your brand. They know what they’re getting, and people recognise your work by your personal brand because your fingerprints are all over it. I think you need to decided early on whether you want a business brand or personal brand. if you’re one person working I think a personal brand potentially is really important because people know who they’re getting when they hire their services or they buy your book or they watch your movies or whatever, they know what they are getting. I think for a long time I was the travelling cinema guy, I was road movie mobile cinema, that was me and the thing is now that I wanted to pivot, if I pivot then I completely lose all that prior work I’ve done. it’s almost like my CV that’s out there, it’s gone. but if I’d been documenting from the beginning and building up a personal brand that kind of allows you to pivot a little bit easier and potentially bring your audience across. The whole thing with personal brand if you want to do lots of things… because everyone is talking about niche or niche if you’re American, how does that fit into a personal brand?
