When I first started YouTube and doing all these things, the podcast and all that. I told my dad, feeling really proud ‘look I’m doing all this stuff’ and he just said ‘can you monetize it?’ and, well, I said ‘I don’t know, probably not’. It’s not about that tho, It’s about getting the word out there about what you doing, about your work, so people know what you’re doing. so by the time you actually create something, people already know. You don’t have to go and do all this work to actually let people know that you’ve done something in the first place – I don’t know if that makes any sense – but I’m gonna see if I can potentially monetize what I’m doing now. With a small following and see how I can start to get that in place now from the beginning of my journey and see if I can start to bring in $.50 here or there.
