Success is a mind game… and hard work

I’m addressing my anxiety now and hopefully I can find my way through. But when so many self helpers say success is a mind game I believe they are 100% right, you’ve obviously also gotta put in the work. But if your head is not right you are not going to succeed. Because every time you get to a place where you think you are getting ahead and you start to succeed you’ll always find a way to smash it down. Because somewhere in my subconscious my instincts are telling me I need to be struggling. Because that’s what I’ve set myself up for, that’s what I’m familiar with and as a creature of habit. I’d weirdly like to stay with what I’m comfortable with, even if that does mean struggling. But you know things have improved. I just got my first pay-cheque six months since my career pivot, and I’m getting paid as a video editor.
