The final layout on page 27 of the Elijah and Crumpet kids book Motivate Man works really well on the double page spread. If you look at my Instagram profile you can see what both these pages look like together. It’s also part of the reason I’m completing the final layouts in reverse, so that the pages look right when you look at my Instagram feed.

I know Gary Vee keeps saying it’s not an art gallery. But I think it’s a little bit different when you are an artist.
So this page was finished in the middle of the night when everyone in the house is asleep. It’s pretty much the only time I get to be in my own head doing my work.
But last night I noticed Youtube expert Nick Nimmin was going live answering questions about people’s YouTube channels. So I asked the question, can one Youtube channel have two goals. Knowing how big everyone is on nicheing your channel down for more success.
My first goal is to document my journey as an artist (illustrating kids books) and the second is to encourage and help other artists to document their creative journeys across social media as well. As I believe that it’s a great way to become a thriving artist. As it certainly worked for me with getting this book that I’m illustrating now.
Nick initially responded with he would definitely have them as two seperate channels as they potentially represent two different audiences. The people interested in creating kids books and the artists wanting to document and promote their work across social media.
…story continued tomorrow…
Personally I think your two goals are very relatable, will support each other and will give more back to your audience. However, I’m no youtube or blogging expert.

Thank you. Yeah I think the two things are intertwined enough that they will support each other. Thanks for your opinion
